Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 :" INTRODUCTION"

Opening.....

Bangkok, Thailand

The city that never truly sleeps.

The night cracked open with the sound of a gunshot — loud, sharp, final.

A man collapsed on the cold pavement, blood spilling beneath him like ink on concrete.

Within seconds, a crowd gathered around the lifeless body, whispering in shock, phones out, mouths covered.

Police sirens wailed.

An ambulance screamed in the distance.

But not a single soul in that crowd had seen a thing.

No witnesses.

No CCTV footage.

No suspicious figure fleeing the scene.

And yet — the murderer was right there, in the crowd, watching.

A hoodie pulled low.

A black mask covering half her face.

Combat boots laced tight.

To everyone else, she looked like just another teenage girl, maybe in shock.

But no one knew the truth.

She was Nyx.

* Age: 18

* Known to the underworld as: The Mafia Queen

* Publicly: A third-year university student at TK International University

(a prestigious school she secretly owns)

* Professionally: CEO of Dark&Rise, the #1 legal company in the world

* Privately: Cold. Calculating. Ruthless.

A tomboy queen with no time for love—but everyone wanted a piece of her.

She didn't run. She didn't panic.

She just watched her work like an artist admiring a finished painting.

Then turned and walked away.

-------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, across the city — still in Bangkok, still under the same sky —

There was Aster.

Nope, not the star.

She was more like a surreal painting — too soft to be real, too perfect to exist.

* Name: Aster

* Age: 16

* Year: First-year fresher at TK International University

Nickname: Bunny — thanks to her adorable bunny teeth and the way she smiled like the world had never hurt her.

She was the top of her class — a straight-A student, naturally gifted, effortlessly brilliant.

But don't get it twisted — she wasn't a nerd, and she wasn't trying.

Aster was just… like that.

The kind of girl people stared at. The kind of beauty that didn't need filters or fame.

And yet — she dodged attention like we all dodge our life problems.

While Nyx was the untouchable queen everyone admired,

Aster was the soft ghost that floated through the halls —

beautiful, beloved, but impossible to catch.

While police tape wrapped around a crime scene in one corner of Bangkok,

on the other side of the city, chaos looked a little different.

"Thirty baht? For two mangoes? Are you trying to rob me?"

Aster squinted up at the fruit vendor, her hands on her hips, a tiny tote bag dangling from her arm.

The old man laughed nervously. "Pretty girl like you should pay full price."

"Pretty girl like me knows the wholesale price is eighteen," she fired back, flashing a disarming bunny-toothed grin.

And just like that, the price dropped.

Because no one — and I mean no one — could argue with Aster when she turned on the charm.

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and hummed as she moved on to the vegetable stall, balancing apples, spinach, and pure sunshine in her hands like it was a normal Wednesday.

This was Aster.

Living her best life.

Arguing about tomatoes.

Avoiding the spotlight like it was contagious.

Even though she was:

The top student in her class

Effortlessly pretty

Universally adored

She hated attention.

Dodged popularity like I dodged my responsibility

And despite how many people tried to get close to her…

No one really could.

Because that's how Aster is she dodged people because she don't wanna be a center of attraction .You can call her introvert but she is both extrovert and introvert who just act like that on different persons with different personality

Extrovert with family, friends

Introvert with admirers

And fire with jealous and toxic relatives

_______________

Family & Mindset

________________

Nyx never believed in fairy tales.

Because hers ended the night her parents died — murdered in cold blood when she was just ten.

After that, she was sent to live with her aunt and uncle —

not out of love, but convenience.

To them, she wasn't a child.

She was a future investment.

Someone who would someday make enough money to keep them comfortable.

And Nyx did exactly that.

She rose. Alone.

Became a queen without a kingdom, and built her empire from ash.

Her rules were simple:

Power above all.

Loyalty over love.

Money talks.

Emotions are for fools.

Nyx didn't trust.

Nyx didn't feel.

Nyx didn't lose.

_____________________________________

Meanwhile... Aster had everything Nyx didn't.

A mom who called every night.

A dad who sent her voice notes from the farm.

A little brother who begged her to bring candy every time she visited home.

They lived far away, in a small village — scraping by — but they had love.

They'd sent Aster to the city with a suitcase, a dream, and enough faith to move mountains.

Aster's rules?

Study hard.

Save money.

Chocolate makes everything better.

To pay her way, Aster worked two jobs:

Daytime shift at a local café

Evening tutoring sessions for rich kids who couldn't tell a verb from a vegetable

She laughed a lot.

Smiled even more.

But behind all that warmth… she was tired.

Tired of struggling.

Tired of acting like everything was fine.

She just never let it show.

________

DREAM

________

Nyx didn't have dreams.

She had goals.

She had blueprints.

She had blood on her hands and a kingdom to run.

But dreams?

That was a luxury for people who still believed the world could be kind.

Still…

Somewhere deep inside — buried under armor, buried so far even she forgot it existed —

was a whisper.

A small, fragile ache.

To be seen.

Not as a queen.

Not as a CEO.

Not as a threat or a legend or a living, breathing machine of control.

But just… as her.

Just Nyx.

---

And Aster?

She dreamed loud.

She wanted the kind of success that would erase the shame from her parents' eyes when they asked her for help.

She wanted a house for them. A new school for her brother.

A life where they didn't have to check the price tag before smiling.

Aster didn't want riches.

She wanted freedom.

Joy.

Enough chocolate to feed the sadness on her worst days.

And she believed — with her whole heart — that if she worked hard enough, that dream would stop being a fantasy.

And become her future.
