"What? I'm getting engaged?"
Tina said while looking confused at the words her mother just said.
"Yes,sweetheart.It's time you get over this single life of yours,it's just so painful to watch,i mean com'on you're 25 years old and you're still single,don't you want to find an amazing partner like mine."
Tina's mother was an alpha and her wife was an omega who was also mute but they really loved each other.
"Ugh,just stop nagging already,if it makes you happy I'll get married to him."
"The least you could do is be grateful for helping you find an omega as beautiful and amazing like mine."
Tina's mother kissed her omega and hugged her while her her omega chuckled but told her to stop and be serious.
*sigh* ~I guess this is the only way to keep them from setting me up on more blind dates so I might as well go along with it ~
Tina said as she sighed as if the whole world was ending even though she wouldn't care if it actually was ending.
Tina's parent and Andrew's father had been planning the engagement for 2 months without even informing their children.They had met on a dating forum where they confessed that they were pretending to be their children to find them a partner so they decided to help themselves out by getting their children engaged to each other and of course Tina's mom informed her omega about everything.
At the fancy restaurant,Andrew and his omega dad were sitting at the table that Tina's parent reserved for the engagement,Andrew was also complaining about the engagement.
"Dad,how could you do this behind my back,I don't even know who you're giving me off to."
"Don't say it as if I'm selling you off, I'm doing this because I love you and you had all the chances to avoid this by just quitting your job at the bar and if you did just that and get another simpler and easier job I promised I'd back off but you refused so it's all on you."
~she's so right yet so wrong~ "dad, you know I love my job at the bar and it's not like I'm doing anything dangerous I'm literally just a bartender."
"Whatever, I guess I'm dying soon anyway"
"There you go again,ugh dad you're not dying anytime soon."
"Well then,get married so seeing my grandchildren would be my motivation to live longer."
~I guess there's no changing his mind,I'll just have to play along till I find another solution.~
Before they could continue their argument,Tina and her parents came over and sat down.Tina's mom and Andrew's dad were quite chatty,they had become good friends during their preparation for the engagement.
"Oh my,look at the time, I've got work tomorrow,looks like we have to go home now."
"Yeah,I should go home too and leave this lovebirds to get acquainted."
Andrew's dad said as he winked at his son.
"I'll drop you off,oh I almost forgot,you guys will be living together from now on."
"Mom,I don't have enough space in my apartment."
"Don't worry,sweetheart, I already thought of that and I got you a mansion with a lot of space."
"What?!" Tina exclaimed while looking quite panicked. "What about Neko Neko and my butler Ava?"
"Yeah,yeah, I know, I already told Ava to move Neko Neko and all your stuff to the new house."
*phew * Tina exhaled as she felt less panicked than she did before.
"You're already 25 but still acting like a 5 year old child anyways we're going now take care."
Tina's omega mom kissed her cheeks and also waved her goodbye,Andrew's dad also did the same to Andrew.
After their parents left Tina and Andrew who didn't quite say anything even while their parents were there before,became even more awkward now that their parents had left.They quietly ate their dinner in silence.
It was a very Akward dinner indeed but there was one thing they could do which was to burp very loudly and laugh it off but they didn't .
