"Seal-free? That means I can catch enemies off guard with my ninjutsu from now on. Awesome!" Kazama exclaimed. But then a thought hit him. "Wait, isn't the power of this Raiton too much? If Kakashi-sensei can't handle it, I'm in trouble!"
Regret washed over Kazama after unleashing Raiton: Kirin. He immediately considered canceling the technique. His goal was to force Kakashi to use his Sharingan so he could gain the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan. Besides, Kakashi was his idol, and Kazama dreamed of fighting side by side with him in the future.
"Is this kid even human?!" Kakashi thought, dodging desperately. "Not only does he wield Mokuton, but now he's mastered such a powerful Raiton technique. Am I testing him, or is he testing me?!"
Despite his efforts, Kakashi was battered and bruised by Kazama's Raiton: Kirin.
"No choice now. I'll use the Sharingan to evade and then genjutsu to make Kazama stop," Kakashi decided, activating his single Sharingan.
At that moment, Kazama's Raiton: Kirin conveniently fizzled out.
"Pass out!" Kakashi commanded, appearing in front of Kazama.
"So this is the power of the Sharingan?" Kazama murmured, staring at Kakashi's crimson eye. A sly grin spread across his face.
Ding! "Successfully absorbed Sharingan attack! Congratulations, Host, on obtaining the Mangekyo Sharingan, along with Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo!"
Ding! "Absorb one more ninjutsu to unlock the Strange Fire: Yin-Yang Dual Flame!"
"Damn, I miscalculated. I need to absorb one more ninjutsu for the new Strange Fire. Still, getting the Mangekyo Sharingan is pretty sweet," Kazama muttered.
"What?! You can even resist my genjutsu?!" Kakashi gaped, tears of frustration welling up as Kazama stood unfazed under his Sharingan's gaze.
"Kakashi-sensei, run!" Kazama shouted.
"Why?" Kakashi asked, baffled by the bizarre request.
"Because I'm about to show off!"
"What?! Are you ever gonna quit, kid?!" Kakashi groaned, vanishing in a flash.
Kazama fell into thought. "Let's see… I can't use the Mangekyo Sharingan on Kakashi; that'd be overkill. Raiton: Kirin's too destructive. Mokuton clones? That's basically cheating!"
The more he thought, the more his head hurt. Most ninja worried about having too few techniques or not enough power. Kazama's problem? Too many techniques, all too powerful.
But he still hadn't snatched the bells, so he couldn't stop now.
"Wait! I haven't used the Ten Thousand Beasts Spirit Flame yet. Perfect, let's try that!"
With a wave of his hand, Kazama summoned thousands of jackals, wolves, tigers, and leopards formed from the Ten Thousand Beasts Spirit Flame. They charged in every direction.
Moments later, not only was Kakashi forced out of hiding, but Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura were dragged over by the fiery beasts.
"Kazama, are these your techniques too? That's insane!" Naruto gasped.
"Kazama, are you nuts?! We're your teammates! Why'd you drag us into this?!" Sakura huffed, hands on her hips.
Sasuke stayed silent. Having witnessed Kazama's duel with Kakashi, he knew Kazama's terrifying strength had completely overwhelmed their sensei. The "genius" Sasuke felt like an ant in comparison. His earlier defiance toward Kazama had morphed into awe.
