Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Urgent Question, What to Do If You Get Caught Summoning a Demon?

In the room, the moment Nastir was expelled…

In Aron's mind, the system announced:

[Ding!]

[Success: First Exorcism!]

[Achievement Reward: Holy Soul!]

(Description 1: Your soul is pure and untouched. No dark force can corrupt or destroy it.)

(Description 2: You become an extremely desirable target for demons who deal in souls.)

"Me? Pure and untouched?"

Aron immediately opened the internal knowledge base provided by the system.

When he saw that all his sarcastic thoughts and obsessions with hellish rituals were still intact, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good… I'm still the sarcastic kid who loves demonic powers."

Then his eyes fell on the sentence: "A great temptation for any demon who craves a soul."

His eyes lit up.

If no demon can resist a holy-soul user's request for power, then he'll make them all serve him.

Yes, the system had rewarded him. And he knew it.

He returned his attention to reality. His gaze fell on his hand, where pure demonic power was gathered.

He focused.

WHOOM!

Hellfire exploded from his palm.

He successfully transformed the energy into hellfire.

"The most basic energy conversion. This is like breathing."

Then he raised his other hand and began drawing a circle in the air.

WHOOSH!

A fiery demonic portal opened before him.

A gateway through dimensions, made from demonic power.

"Okay… this really works…"

He knew that many spells relied on the structure of the form itself, and the energy that powered them could be flexible.

Only a few magics had strict requirements for the energy source. Everything else, free market.

He was already planning to step through the portal, when…

"Boom~"

His feet froze in place.

Behind him stood the Ancient One.

Expressionless. Staring directly at the open flaming portal.

Aron felt cold sweat trickling down his back.

Urgent question: What do you do when you're caught red-handed summoning demons?

The Ancient One calmly said:

"You have demonic power within you."

Aron tensed.

No, don't kill me. It's just a little power. You yourself have Dormammu's dark energy inside, right!?

"Don't worry. I won't harm you."

The Ancient One looked him straight in the eyes.

Aron was shocked.

Can he read minds?!

"No, I'm not reading minds."

Aron froze.

This bald sage… is dangerously perceptive.

He quickly cut off his inner monologue. He mustn't even think anything too playful.

You're a sage… a legend… you have a glorious bald head…

The Ancient One shuddered as if his brain detected the mental spam. He didn't comment. He only said:

"You're coming with me."

He opened a portal.

Aron didn't ask anything. He simply followed him.

...

When they passed through the portal, they found themselves on a frozen mountain peak.

The wind struck like a razor. Ice crystals whipped against their skin.

But the demonic power around Aron's heart immediately reacted, forming a fiery barrier around his body.

The Ancient One observed.

"If I hadn't seen you earlier, I'd think you were a born demon. You control demonic power as if you were born with it."

"Hm."

Aron just smiled.

Still rotting. But usefully rotting.

The Ancient One sighed.

"This is Makalu, the fifth-highest mountain in the world. Colder and harsher than Everest. Far from all paths."

"From now on, you will summon demons here."

"...Excuse me?"

"You are far from others here. If something gets out of control, there will be no civilian casualties."

Aron was stunned.

He expected punishment. Instead, the Ancient One gave him a field.

"Why?"

The Ancient One took a deep breath.

"Because of your case, I went to the Supreme Dimension."

"Supreme Dimension?"

Aron was a bit confused.

"Didn't you finish reading the Basics of Magic?"

"No."

"..."

The Ancient One fell silent for a moment, then said: "That is the dwelling of the Emperor Vishanti."

"The Emperor Vishanti revealed something to me about you."

"But some things, not even the Almighty can foresee."

Since the Time Stone couldn't clearly see Aron's past or future.

The Ancient One specially went to the Supreme Dimension.

However, when speaking of Aron, the great and almighty Trinity showed the faintest trace of jealousy.

Everything happened after leaving the Supreme Dimension.

The Ancient One made a decision.

"I don't know how far you'll go. But for now… I'll help you."

He handed him a parchment, over a thousand years old. Preserved by magic.

On it, pictograms. Not a single letter was understandable.

"It's called Quags."

"He was the servant of an evil dimensional lord. Now he's sealed somewhere."

"If you summon him, be cautious. You can contact me if things get out of hand."

Then he handed him something else—a ancient book.

"These are records of demons from other dimensions. Not all are lords, but many of them are incredibly powerful."

...

Aron looked at the paper and book in his hands.

He felt warmth. Respect.

Maybe even… gratitude.

Hey, this bald head is actually awesome.

If you were younger and had a bit of hair… maybe I would…

"No, thank you."

The Ancient One cut him off immediately.

...

"From now on… you may leave Kamar-Taj."

BOOM.

Expelled.
