Chapter 13 - Twin wolf training

Because of the coyote, my training changed from one man and one wolf to one man and two wolves. They all appear in virtual form, and only I can see them.

Every night at eight o'clock, I came to the playground on time. Blood wolves are responsible for speed and strength training, and coyotes are responsible for defense and counterattacks.

"Master, attack my left rib!" The voice of the blood wolf sounded in his head.

I threw a quick punch, and the blood wolf dodged sideways, its claws sweeping towards my legs. I jumped out of the way, spun in the air, and kicked it in the head.

The Blood Wolf took two steps back and nodded. "It's good, but it's not fast enough."

Coyotes watched from the sidelines. "Master, your sense of defense is too poor. If the blood wolf had a weapon in his hand just now, you would have died. "

"How can it be improved?" I wiped my sweat.

"Look at your opponent's shoulder out of the corner of your eye." The coyote walked up to me, "The movement of the arm will start from the shoulder." "

I re-assumed my fighting stance, this time keeping an eye on the shoulder of the blood wolf. Sure enough, every time it attacked, there would be a slight movement in the shoulder.

"Bang!" My fist collided with the claws of the blood wolf.

"Not bad." The Blood Wolf nodded in satisfaction, "Go on." "

The training lasted two hours and my clothes were soaking wet. But it's a good feeling, and I can clearly feel my progress.

"Master, take a break." Coyote reminded.

I sat down on the edge of the playground and took a sip of water. In the distance, there were a few students running at night, and they looked at me from time to time.

"The freshman went crazy there again." A voice came.

"If you hit and hide in the air, you must be sick." Another voice chimed in.

"I heard that he killed Brother Tiger and them."

", how could a sixteen-year-old student kill so many people?"

I ignored their arguments. In the eyes of others, I'm a psychopath fighting against the air.

Doesn't matter.

I don't care.

In my opinion, it is imperative to improve my actual combat ability. Hand-to-hand combat, I won't necessarily lose. But when I encounter someone with a weapon, my reaction speed is still too slow.

The blood wolf stood up, his eyes glinting blood-red. "Master, let's practice actual combat."

"What actual combat?"

"Let's say I have a knife in my hand." The Blood Wolf raised his right paw, "You're going to subdue me before I stab you." "

The coyote also stood up. "I'll be the referee."

I took a deep breath and re-struck the fighting stance. The blood wolf walked slowly towards me, his right paw clenched, as if he were really holding a sharp blade.

It suddenly accelerated, and its right paw stabbed me in the chest. I dodged sideways, but the blood wolf's attack was angled and the tips of its claws grazed my clothes.

"You're dead." Coyote announced.

"Again." I'm not convinced.

The blood wolf attacked again, and this time instead of dodging, I blocked with my left hand and punched it in the ribs with my right fist.

"All together." The coyote shook his head, "You blocked the attack, but you were also stabbed. "

More than a dozen times in a row, I failed to subdue the blood wolf perfectly. Either they are "stabbed", or the counterattack is not lethal enough.

"Master, you're too impatient." The coyote walked up to me, "To deal with weapons, you need to be patient and wait for your chance." "

"What chance?"

"The moment the opponent attacks, it's the best chance." The coyote's eyes became serious, "At that moment their defenses were the weakest. "

I recalibrated my mindset and stopped rushing to fight back. The blood wolf attacked again, and I continued to retreat and dodge, looking for the right opportunity.

When it stabbed for the third time, I finally took my chance. The moment it struck, I stepped forward diagonally, holding its wrist with my left hand and striking its jaw with my right elbow.

"Good." The coyote nodded, "You won this time." "

I want to be stronger, faster.

The students who ran at night were still talking about something, but their voices could no longer reach me. I just focused on training, on getting stronger.

Because I know that in this world, only if you are strong enough can you protect what you want to protect.
