"I took it all for granted." The girl says, looking back at the little girl running through the empty streets filled with nothing but rubble and fire.
The air was filled with smoke and ash.
"I thought it would all go back to the way it was..." The girl continued, watching as the little girl tripped and fell. Her leg was stuck under a piece of rubble, making her stuck in place.
"I was wrong." The girl added, looking up at the sky as a frown formed on her face.
The little girl cried endlessly before she heard a rumbling sound from above her. She looked up at the sky and saw a cluster of rubble falling from a destroyed building in her direction.
The girl closed her eyes as the cluster of rubble fell on to the little girl's left side, crushing her left hand.
"Hyacinth! Hyacinth! Where are-" A woman, the little girl's mother ran into the scene at the sound of her daughter's cries but stopped at the sight before her.
The mother put a hand over her mouth, her eyes widened as tears filled up in her eyes.
"My child! Hyacinth!" She ran to her daughter, struggling to get the rubble off her daughter.
The girl started to walk away, the cries of the mother and daughter fading into the distance as she walked.
"I will fix it. No matter what it takes. All of it." The girl mumbled under her breath as she disappeared with the smoke.
