"He's dead..." The guy was massive about 195.9cm, he was tall and shredded, he was an absolute physical specimen. "I'm sorry, Deion, but Cam was killed; his vitals went offline about 2 hours ago... I'm sorry."
The phone cut out as Deion's hand dropped to his side followed by the phone to the floor. Tears welled up in his eyes as a girl with wide hips, toned arms, and light brown hair saw him.
"Crying Deion? That's Pathetic-" Then she noticed him shaking, he wasn't sad, he was angry and about to explode. "Deion, what happe-" Deion's words were sharp and dangerous as she was cut off, "Stop talking for just a minute, Yukiko."
He dropped to his knees as tears streamed down his face and she walked closer to him and grabbed his hand that was shaking. It was a rare sight, she was affectionate but never showed it to him. He could tell Yukiko liked him but this was new to him.
"Cam's- No Captain's dead." She was about to laugh in his face, bully him for believing something so stupid, but she whipped out her phone. "What- No!" She dropped her phone as Deion picked it back up and handed it to her.
Tears burst out and Yukiko hugged him and pulled him into her bosom.

Cam spoke and Deion listened as if he were receiving word from a great man, a great teacher, "Deion, I won't be around forever, you know, I know you bounced around before I requested you come to my squad, but you will need to be your own reason for why you want change."
Deion laughed, "I want to be better than you, isn't that plenty enough?" Deion walked up to his brother, as Cam spoke again, "That Yukiko girl, she likes you right?" Deion then chuckled, "Like that beast of a woman would want me." Cam scowled as if he were told to 'get lost' by a scrub, "One day, you'll find a real reason to protect this world of ours, I don't want it to be a reason like... Vireya's."
