While the ritual was taking place, the candles suddenly went out, causing the three to feel fear.
Moments later, the three suddenly screamed in shock at the light they witnessed.

The light was coming from the moonlight that shone through the door Mikel had opened.
Henry: Wait! Let us explain!
Mikel: Explain?! Do you know what you're doing? Do you know the consequences of this?
Mikel grabbed the Book of Life from the floor.
Nat: We just wanted to speak to the Princess.
Henry: I just wanted to find out about the death of my parents.
Mikel: No! This is wrong! Absolutely wrong!
The young man was furious at what the three students had done, causing them to run. Nat snatched the book from the weakened young man, and they left the place.
Vin: This way, hurry!
Nat: Henry, this way!
As the three ran away from Arkisha's grave, a trumpet suddenly sounded. This trumpet sound could only be heard by those chosen by Professor Leo.
Henry: Do you hear that? It sounds like a trumpet.
Nat: Huh? What trumpet? Come on, hurry!
The three continued to run, but without realizing it, Nat had dropped the Book of Life in the middle of the cemetery.
When the three reached the school, they immediately hid in their room.
Not one of them dared to go outside, fearing that Mikel might report them and cause their expulsion from the school.
