The guy had cut the call and Kenzo blocked and deleted his number. "Well done." They both high-fived.
Kenji just stood there. "Was someone trying to make Kenzo gay?"
"Yes, but I stopped that from ever happening." Zuri said proudly.
"We stopped that from ever happening." Kenzo corrected. "You guys go to sleep. I want to check if Dad's back and I'll have to lock the doors."
Kenzo left the room and Kenji and Zuri sat on the bed. "I can't sleep." He said.
"Me too." She admitted.
"I'm sorry." Kenji turned to her.
"What for?" She had a puzzled expression.
He pulled her by the waist. "For this." Then, he kissed her.
He tightened his grip on her, not wanting to let go and pushed her to the bed.
"What are you doing?" She was shocked and flustered. She couldn't see his eyes, only his messy hair.
"Apparently, someone I should have done a long time ago." He kissed her again, feeling warmth spread throughout his body.
Initially, he thought she had feelings for his brother but it was obvious that she didn't like Kenzo or Dai.
"I wish I told you sooner." He whispered. "I think I'm in love with you."
Those words rang in her ear. He pulled her up and she reached for her inhaler.
"You really have some guts." She said.
His cheeks turned pink and he looked away. "You don't have to reciprocate my feelings."
She knew that he had too little courage to pull this off and she didn't want him to feel bad.
"I'm sorry that I can't reciprocate your feelings." She sighed. "I see you and yours brothers as family. I don't think I can develop such feelings. Please don't be upset."
He smiled. It was a genuine smile. "I'm not."
"But I have to give you credit. You are an amazing kisser." She teased him.
"Stop it." His face looked like a tomato.
"I'm back." Kenzo switched off the light and Kenji climbed into the bed. Zuri was in between the two and she was comfortable as it was.
She had slept together with the two a lot and didn't neither one of them found a problem with it.
Kenji wrapped their arms around her and whispered, "Thanks."
