'God I hope there aren't any more crossovers in this world' I bemoan to myself as I watch a person who is very much not from this universe talk with Kiba 'because I'm very sure that is Korra from avatar' and sure enough there she was an apparent dxd version of Korra happily making sure I knew this is a multi crossover without even talking to me.
I groan to myself as I turn around and start walking away "alright that's enough training today Kiba I'll be back when I can but right now I need to check up on the Greeks" so with a small push off the floor with my foot I was already half way to the Lucifer castle and closing in fast.
When I arrived I knocked on the door politely (I'm not a savage and he is technically my boss at the moment) and was let in by a maid.
It took an annoyingly long time to get to Sirzechs office but when I got there I knock and was let in. "Excuse me Sirzechs but I would ask you for a request" I was being polite to not agitate the very visibly stressed man more than my interruption already had.
He rolled his hand in a get on with it motion so I stated my request "I would like to return back to the Greek faction to check on my students progress" he nodded and was about to shoo me when a though seem to strike him (almost physically because I think I actually saw him get smacked by something I couldn't see)
"The Greeks are in America correct Yoriichi" that got a slow nod from me wondering why he was nothing asking me anything related to faction territory.
"Than I have a task for you to complete while you are there" I hold back the groan I was about to realise and just nod along. "There has been a development in east coast in a relatively unknown town called Brockton bay" as soon as those words left the Satan's lips I genuinely felt the need to go find what ever was left of Yahweh and strangle the motherfucker because what do you mean this world is also fucking parahumans.
(Authors note, I've decided that all the shit that happens in worm is the next earth over and that some dumbass tinker had tried to take doctor Heywire's portal but a bad interaction between the tech and the visiting Vista's power caused a cascade effect of generating a portal to this world that didn't go unnoticed by the regular people )
"What is the situation Lucifer sir" Sirzechs had already told him to not be so formal but I didn't care and just wanted this over with.
"A different earth has breached a hole into our universe and the regular people noticed the large portal to another reality but luckily their side has a plausible reason that doesn't rely on our side of the world being learnt about" so did earth bet make contact with our universe instead of aleph or was another portal opened after the aleph one.
"I'm requesting you to go and find out what is happening and to meet the people on the other side" I lift an eyebrow in questioning "this sounds like a task for an entire department of the devil government to be honest and shouldnt the USA be the Greeks problem" the red Satan nods and explains.
"It normally would be but the Greeks aren't very good with dimensional or extra dimensional phenomena" that kinda makes some sense as most of their divinities are based around aspects of the physical world or around humanity with only one or two really having domains over dimensions (Hades with his rule over the Greek underworld means he's interacted with multiple dimensions constantly.)
"Alright but I need you to teleport me there if you want me to get there sometime this year" I really need to learn a way to teleport so I don't have to rely on people for such a basic skill.
"Easily done" and with a flick of his wrist and a flash of red light I'm in a totally different location.
"Wow that feels weird" looking at what I'm guessing is the earth bet portal I feel the distinct emotions of both this Gaia and earth bet much weaker and more suppressed Gaia and the difference couldn't be more radical.
While my Gaia feels motherly and loving with only a hint of sadness from the destruction of her body and the desecration of her children (humanity, the Cyclops and the hundred handed ones) earth bets Gaia feels fucking apoplectic about the parasites infesting her beloved (and only remaining) children while also seems to be in constant agonizing pain from having to basically hold her reality together through force of will and all her remaining power.
I hum to myself as I communicate with my Gaia gently asking her how to help Gaia bet our of her current situation while I also walk to the portal that's currently being blocked from our side by the police and on their side by the PRT.
I duck and weave under the attempts by the authorities to stop me and just ignore the bullets other than making sure they don't hit me or any bystanders nearby.
And it's with basically no effort that i walk through both our earths police and bets PRT guard blockade to step foot onto earth bet and when I do it visibly shakes the earth.
The moment my foot passes the blue glow of the portal and makes contact with the concrete of some random road in Brockton bay every single thinker alive (or almost alive in the case of a certain endbringer) fliches and doubles over. The second step I take sends a visible ripple outwards from my persons and the effect on the world is unmissable as long unpowered laylines snap to full power like a reactor coming back online.
My third step generates enough magic for the world to use that it's defensive systems turn back on including the Archetype system and the reactivation of Type Earth but as Gaia is currently to weak for the total activation the ultimate one of earth is partially reawaken but much weaker then normal only being able to fight on even ground against an endbringer instead of being able to one shot scion.
My fourth step lets my Gaia start draining the Evil from Gaia bet as to not have her become overwhelmed when she awakens properly and risk her calling the other planets for help and accidentally calling ORT.
My fifth step brings more of earth bets systems back online like Alaya regaining the barest amount of energy needed for her reawaken and subsequent freakout as to what the fuck is happening to humanity right now along with the deployment of her favourite Counter Guardian (she's borrowing EMIYA from one of her other selfs because this is a total shit show but she does have some new toys/Counter Guardians like this one guy called hero)
My sixth step was the last to bring any changes and also the most impactful as this step realigned our multiversal cluster back to its proper place connected to the worldliness of fate which allowed for the throne of hero's to reconnect to us along with the Root cataloging us and noticing how fucked our cluster is and also allowing a certain troll the ability to see our cluster for the first time in epochs (millions of years) in his own time.
"Huh that felt weird, whatever so what do I do now" I say as I stand on a random light pole looking over the bay and noticing how the Gaia seems elated for some reason.
