Charles was sitting on a chair outside, near the sun-drenched pool. He wore a dark pool suit, a towel draped over his head, and his expression was as black as his mood. Ezekiel, already in the pool with Keal and Edward, looked over and sighed.
"What a useless guy," Ezekiel muttered.
Keal splashed lightly and called out, "Charles, come on! We came outside just for you."
Edward, shivering slightly in the water, added, "It's cold…"
Keal rolled his eyes. "It's not that cold."
Charles shook his head furiously. "I'm not coming into that cold pool of water!"
Charles had always been scared of cold water, and today was no different. But Ezekiel wouldn't let him escape so easily. He waded to the edge of the pool and grabbed Charles' arm.
"Come here, into the pool!" Ezekiel grinned.
Charles screamed, "No! No! I don't want to!"
Edward grabbed his other arm, and together they yanked Charles into the water.
"Aaaah! Cold! Cold!" Charles shouted in panic.
