"Damnit!" Asher Land cursed discontentedly.
"What's wrong?" Sophie Smith asked with some unease.
Asher Land got out of the car, walked around it once, and then returned to the car.
"The tire's punctured." He had been momentarily distracted and hadn't noticed a sharp object by the roadside. Now it's late, no spare tire, and on top of that, here they are in a remote countryside...
"We might have to spend the night here."
"No way?" Sophie exclaimed in panic. This is the countryside, dark and stormy at night, and she couldn't help but shiver from the depths of her heart.
"What's there to be afraid of?" Asher asked, puzzled.
"Everything is scary," Sophie answered truthfully.
Asher chuckled softly, "With me here, there's no need to worry."
Sophie felt a warmth in her heart, her mood indeed relaxed quite a bit.
