Amber did it first. Bright green fur sprang out all over her body, her claws elongated and thickened and she seemed to grow taller. Stefan followed suit almost instantaneously. Their faces lost their humanity when their mouths and noses elongated and combined into snouts and their eyes lost their sclera as their pupils seemed to widen and takeover the entire eye.
They growled at each other, howled fiercely, and ran, full force to attack. They were both all claws and teeth with Amber even taking a chunk from his leg with the claws on her foot.
This went on far too long with them still being evenly matched. In the end it was this aspect that ended everything. Over exerting your wolf will cause the entire body to shutdown and that's what happened.
They didn't truly notice at first. They simply slowed down a bit which could've been attributed to fatigue. In the end they were both on the ground in a deep hibernation type sleep.
The spectators went quiet for a long moment, waiting to see if either would awaken. After a few minutes there was a huge uproar as people tried to determine if they won the bet on the length of the bout between the two Alphas.
The ref looked to the judges and all was silent confusion as the crowd settled the gambling. Tiffany was by Stefan's side almost instantly which shook Adonis and Margot into action. Tiffany had checked both of them and stabled their mental states but she left the rest to the Deltas as she organized the transport of Stefan back to their rented house.
Adonis walked up to her and she pursed her lips, breathed deeply and looked at him in a way that caused him to pause.
"Sorry Beta. My Lord already left instructions with me he…" She paused as she looked down at Stefan and smiled. "Okay. We will take him to the fortress. But there was no verdict given."
Adonis nodded then shrugged. "You come as well. He will want to make sure that you are okay. And it was clearly a tie."
Tiffany shook her head. "I will go back to the rented house and tie does not mean that she lost."
Tiffany entered the house followed closely behind by Tar and Caleb.
"Why exactly did you let him be taken to the fortress?"
Tiffany rounded on him. She was not in a good mood and she threw him to a wall and pressed him into it.
"I didn't allow him to be taken he told me to let them take him, and he wanted to go alone." She looked to Tar "I marked him." She passed the sight from Stefan's mark over to Tar and he could hear and see everything happening to Stefan.
She allowed Caleb to slide down the wall until he could stand on his own. He smiled and bowed.
"Sorry little sis I overstepped."
She rolled her eyes. "Your actions respect then your words wash that respect away." She looked to Tar and Hale. "We need to be ready for when he awakens. We should be at the fortress as soon as possible to make sure he is protected." She shook her head at their looks of fear.
"Amber is in love. She is conflicted with herself because she feels he doesn't want her but other than that her heart is truly his."
Jess walked to the group nodding. "I know she loves him but you act as if he loves her too"
Tiffany shrugged and grimaced. "You would have to talk to him about that."
Jess smiled and nodded. She liked this girl. Her undying loyalty to her brother would ensure his longevity. She breathed deeply.
"You are right. We need to be ready. We will assume that he will be the new Alpha but we will enter like we are worried about his safety because the bout was a tie. Also we need to set clear boundaries between out two …"
Hale bowed in respect. "Alpha still does not want Star Fire Pack to know about Silver Moon so we can use Blood Traces as a go between and place some of our spy network into the fortress more easily."
Both Tiffany and Jess were taken aback and ended up looking at each other and nodding.
"Your leaders are okay with this?"
Hale nodded to Tiffany to indicate that they had. She nodded in return.
"My people are now of the Silver Moon Pack but we can keep our small Pack somewhat alive to help our actual pack."
"it sounds like you have a plan."
Hale nodded respectfully to Jess. "I do Lady Jess. Our Alpha is long dead and we are governed by a council. We can place Alpha Marco as our Alpha but since he presented as an Omega it would be easier to stay with that line and make him a member of the council."
Jess thought about it for a moment. It was an interesting plan and she couldn't see why they shouldn't use it. She looked to Tiffany, who had been watching her as she contemplated, Tiffany nodded and began to telepathically inform Stefan.
Stefan had learned a lot from Tiffany. He could be completely unconscious and still have a small section of his brain operating because of this he could tell Tiffany to allow them to take his body and he could wake up knowing the new plan.
He laid on his back as he thought about what an asset Hale truly was. Then he sent out his senses to understand the room he was in. He was alone and without any guard. This made him raise an eyebrow.
He sat up and stretched and was rewarded with his own groan and a grimace on his face. He moved the sheet and sat in lotus position and began meditating. Almost instantly he felt his body begin to repair and sooth itself. Soon he was refreshed and not feeling stiff and overworked. He opened his eyes. 'Time to get this started.'
Amber awoke in much the same way as Stefan. She meditated to maximize her recovery and was out of bed a bit earlier then him. She had to be. Her pack was about to change forever.
