"Cassian!" Aurora cried out, her voice drenched in wounded emotion. "I've done nothing to betray you!"

"But you…" Aurora's voice trembled, heavy with pain. "You're the one who betrayed me."
"I didn't—" Cassian began, but she cut him off with brutal precision.
"You slept with the Princess, didn't you?"
"Aurora…" Cassian's voice dropped into a soft, pleading whisper. "If I hadn't… you would've been killed."
Hmm. Suddenly I felt like the villain here. Oh right, I am the villain. No offense taken.
"I would've rather died," Aurora replied, her voice cracking under the strain. "Better than watching you fall into someone else's arms…"
