Liam's mother, Sarah, picked up the phone and dialled her husband's number. Liam, Rachel, Jake, Allison, and Emily all sat down in the living room, anxiously waiting for Liam's father, Reginald, to arrive.
The atmosphere was about becoming so tense before Liam stood up immediately and rambled
"Mom, what's going on?" Liam asked, trying to break the silence.
Sarah sighed and put down the phone. "I don't know, sweetie. Your father has been acting strange lately. He's been getting mysterious phone calls and leaving the house at odd hours."
Liam's eyes widened. "Do you think he's involved with Sophia and Mr. Wilson.
Sarah hesitated. "I don't know, Liam. But we'll find out soon enough."
About five minutes later, the doorbell rang. Sarah got up to answer it, revealing Reginald, Liam's father, standing in the doorway. He entered with a frowned face like he was upset and disturbed.
"Hey, everyone," Reginald said, looking around the room.
"What's going on?" He mumbled again on sighting the little crowd in his sitting room.
Liam stood up, with his heart racing.
"Dad, we need to talk to you."
Reginald looked at his wife, who nodded.
"Okay, son. What's this about?"
Liam took a deep breath. "We know you're involved with Sophia and Mr. Wilson We know you're helping them with their plans."
Reginald's expression suddenly changed from upset and disturbed to a look of shock.
"Who told you this?" He asked directly.
Rachel spoke up. "We have evidence, Mr. Spencer. We know all about the shady business deals and the manipulation."
Reginald sighed and rubbed his temples. "I.. i can explain everything."
"Please do. We need explanations." Liam said, his voice firm.
Reginald sat down, looking around the room before speaking.
"I was in financial trouble, and Sophia family offered to help me. They promised me a lot of money and power if I helped her with her plans."
"But what about Mr. Wilson?" Emily asked.
Reginald hesitated. "Mr. Wilson is Sophia's partner. They're working together to take over the government
Allison's eyes widened. "Take over the government? What do you mean?"
Reginald sighed. "They're planning to use their wealth and influence to manipulate the government and take control of the city."
The room fell silent. Liam and his friends were shocked by the revelation.
"But why?" Liam asked. "Why would you help them?"
Reginald looked at his son, with tears in his eyes.
"I was desperate, Liam. I didn't know what else to do. But I realize now that I made a mistake, and i think it's too late to turn back."
Liam's expression softened. "It's okay, Dad. We'll help you make it right."
Reginald nodded, with a small smile on his face. "Thank you, son."
The group sat in silence for a moment, processing the information.
"So, what's the plan?" Jake asked all of a sudden, breaking the silence.
Liam stood up. "We need to take down Sophia and Mr. Wilson. We need to stop their plans and bring them to justice."
Rachel nodded. "I have an idea. I can use my connections to get us into Sophia's mansion. We can gather evidence and take her down from the inside."
Allison smiled. "I'm in."
Emily nodded. "Me too."
Jake grinned. "Let's do this."
Liam's father stood up. "I'll help you too. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right."
The group shared a determined look. They were ready to take down Sophia and Mr. Wilson and save their city.
But as they were about to leave, Liam's phone rang. He answered it, listening to the voice on the other end.
"What is it?" Rachel asked, noticing Liam's concerned expression.
Liam's eyes widened. "It's Sophia. She knows we're onto her."
The group exchanged worried glances. They knew they had to act fast.
"What does she want?" John asked.
Liam's voice was firm. "She wants to meet with us. She says she has a proposition for us."
Rachel raised an eyebrow. "What kind of proposition?"
Liam shrugged. "I don't know. But I think we should hear her out."
The group nodded in agreement. They were ready to face Sophia and whatever proposition she had in store for them.
As they left Liam's house, they knew they were in for a challenge. But they were determined to take down Sophia and Mr. Wilson, no matter what it took.

Rachel raised an eyebrow. "What kind of deal?"

Allison scoffed. "Why would we help you?"
Sophia shrugged. "Because, if you don't, I'll make sure that your little secret is exposed to the entire city."
Emily's eyes widened. "What secret?"
Sophia leaned in, a conspiratorial look on her face. "I know all about your little group. I know about the evidence you've been gathering, and I know about your plans to take me down."
Liam's eyes narrowed. "How did you find out?"
Sophia chuckled. "Let's just say that I have my ways. But, I'm willing to let all of that slide, if you agree, help me."
Jake spoke up, his voice firm. "We're not going to help you, Sophia. We're going to take you down."
Sophia's smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure. "Fine. If that's how you want to play it, then so be it."
With that, Sophia turned and walked away, leaving the group standing there, wondering what had just happened.
As they walked back to their cars, Rachel turned to the group. "What do you think Sophia's planning?"
Liam shook his head. "I don't know, but I think we should be prepared for anything."
Allison nodded. "I'll start digging into Sophia's company, see if I can find any dirt."
Emily smiled. "I'll start spreading the word, see if anyone else is willing to join our cause."
Jake grinned. "And I'll start training, get ready for whatever Sophia throws our way."
Liam smiled, feeling a sense of pride and determination. "We're in this together, guys. We're going to take Sophia down, no matter what it takes."
As they drove away, they knew that they were in for the fight of their lives. But they were ready.
