Kalifa and Ain instantly swapped positions. Both of them blinked in confusion, not realizing what had just happened.
Since Chiga's Op Op Fruit ability was activated through the Rinnegan, he didn't need to make any gestures—just eye contact to lock on to a target, which was extremely convenient.
The ROOM scan earlier was purely to play around with the ability he'd just acquired and, of course, to tease Kalifa and Ain a bit.
Chiga's mischievous streak had only grown stronger with his increasing power.
After savoring the stunned reactions from the two women, Chiga activated the Op Op Fruit again. One moment he was sitting in his chair, and the next, he appeared directly beside Kalifa.
Kalifa gave him a helpless look and said,
"Boss, have you had enough fun? The Op Op Fruit is really weird. Ain and I experienced it firsthand. Please don't keep experimenting on us."
Chiga spread his hands innocently toward Ain, silently implying: She's the curious one—don't blame me.
Ain, catching Chiga's teasing glance, rolled her eyes and dragged Kalifa out of the office.
Once they were gone, Chiga began testing teleportation and displacement repeatedly. His figure blinked around the office like a ghost, appearing and vanishing from one spot to another.
Eventually, after swapping all the furniture in the office for fun, he returned to his chair.

From the other room, Kalifa and Ain could hear Chiga laughing uncontrollably.
Ain glanced sideways.
"It's tough being Chiga's secretary, isn't it?"
Kalifa responded,
"Eh, not exactly. He once told me it's a tradition of the Uchiha clan—the stronger you are, the more you laugh like that."
"...Is that really a thing?"
Ain nodded slowly, deep in thought.
So it wasn't insanity—it was proof of power. Apparently.
Back in the office, Chiga had calmed down. He tapped rhythmically on his desk, clearly in a great mood.

Thanks to the Op Op Fruit, which allowed free manipulation of objects within ROOM and teleportation, Chiga recalled Sasuke's Amenotejikara—the Rinnegan ability that forcibly swaps the positions of people or objects within the user's field of vision.
But compared to that, Chiga's ROOM technique was vastly superior.
Amenotejikara had limitations—distance and cooldown—as seen in Sasuke's battle with Madara. But in Chiga's ROOM, those restrictions didn't exist.
As long as the ROOM was large enough, Chiga could appear anywhere within it and swap any objects. However, based on battles like the one on Onigashima, powerful enemies with strong Haki could resist forced swaps.
Still, within ROOM and with enough stamina, Chiga could execute unlimited operations. No cooldowns. No real limits.
He had basically obtained a fully optimized version of Amenotejikara. What wasn't there to be excited about?

Chiga's gaze landed on a potted plant across the office. A gray vortex formed from his right eye, spinning clockwise and enveloping the plant.
As it turned, the leaves yellowed, dried, and crumbled. Eventually, the entire plant disintegrated into dust.
Chiga knelt beside it, letting the brittle remains fall between his fingers, watching as they dissolved into the air.
This was the ability he awakened after his Rinnegan evolved to Six Tomoe—a unique time-based power called Chrono Will.
The power formed a time vortex at his line of sight, accelerating the flow of time for whatever it locked on to. Its effectiveness depended on Chiga's pupil strength and the target's resistance.
At his current level, if he locked onto someone like Doflamingo with full power, he could potentially age him to death in five seconds.
The ability was like a Mangekyō Sharingan's personal jutsu—awakened with the eye itself.
Chiga theorized that the reason he reverted to a six-year-old upon arriving in the One Piece world was that, in a moment of desperation, he had activated the Rinnegan at full throttle, unintentionally triggering Chrono Will in reverse.
But now, Chrono Will could only accelerate time—not reverse it. He assumed the left eye's power had not fully awakened yet.
The Rinnegan worked best in pairs. Madara, for instance, could only summon one Limbo clone with one eye, but gained four after recovering the second.
So Chiga believed that when his left eye reached Six Tomoe, Chrono Will would be strengthened even further—and possibly, a new unique ability would awaken as well.

For now, he was more than satisfied. This mission to Swallow Island had been a jackpot.
After absorbing both the Pop Pop Fruit and Op Op Fruit, his Rinnegan instantly reached Six Tomoe, and unlocked a powerful eye technique. It was everything he could ask for.
Clenching his fist, Chiga felt the power of the sea itself surging within his right eye.
If he fought Kaido now, it would no longer be a one-sided slaughter—he could truly challenge the Yonko, and maybe even take him down.
And that was just with one Six Tomoe eye.
If the left eye also awakened fully and gained its own Six Tomoe… who knows?
Perhaps he would unlock Six Paths Mode, and summon Truth-Seeking Orbs, sweeping all obstacles aside.
But he couldn't afford to be careless.
The world of One Piece wasn't done unfolding yet.
The secrets of Mary Geoise, the true power of Im, and countless mysteries still awaited.
For now, Chiga's goal was clear:
Collect powerful Devil Fruits. Awaken the left eye. Create six Rinnegan puppets. Expand his force.
Because in this world, strength was everything.
