Chapter 53 - Chapter 5: Little Blue

Once the battle broke out, Horn wouldn't be able to protect everyone!

On the wild - witch side, magic power overflowed as the staves were drawn. On the other - worlder side, electric arcs flashed as they got ready to attack.

The air became heavy, and a deadly fight was about to start!

Just at this extremely tense moment, an other - worlder who looked the same as the others suddenly jumped out and stood between the two sides!

He faced the other other - worlders and made sizzling sounds, and his body also wriggled in a strange way in coordination.

It seemed that he was arguing about something.

Horn was startled by this sudden appearance. A large fireball almost flew out, but seeing that he didn't seem to have any hostility, Horn forced himself to hold it back.

The other wild witches also looked unhappy. Withdrawing the prepared attacks would cause a backlash. It wasn't very serious, but it was still uncomfortable.

The other - worlders communicated for a while. The other - worlder who jumped out seemed to have reached some agreement with the others inside, and the atmosphere obviously eased.

After talking to the others, this other - worlder walked towards Horn and his group.

He waved his hands and made sizzling sounds in Horn's direction, trying to express something.

Horn looked completely at a loss. In his eyes, all these other - worlders looked the same. He had never met this other - worlder before and didn't understand their language. What on earth was he talking about?

He was being a bit self - indulgent. This other - worlder wasn't talking to him at all. He was communicating with Annie behind Horn!

After this other - worlder finished speaking, Annie walked out of the line from behind Horn and came in front of this other - worlder.

"Are you really Little Blue that I summoned that day?" Annie said to this other - world creature excitedly.

For the sake of convenience, we'll call this other - worlder who can communicate with Annie "Little Blue".

Little Blue made some hissing sounds at Annie. Annie didn't know what he was saying, but she smiled happily.

Then, a wild witch and an other - worlder started chatting under the surprised gazes of both sides.

After chatting for a while, Annie returned to the group.

The wild witches all looked at Annie with strange looks in their eyes. How could she communicate with those other - worlders?

Enoch joked with Annie directly, "You're not a spy sent from another world, are you?"

"What nonsense. That blue creature is my former summoned beast! So I can have some basic communication with it," Annie explained helplessly, looking at the strange looks in everyone's eyes.

"Why haven't I seen you communicate with your summoned beasts before?" Horn asked. He had never seen Annie communicate with the creatures she summoned. She always just gave orders to the summoned beasts unilaterally.

"My previous summoned beasts could understand what I said, but they never talked to me. Maybe they couldn't speak," Annie thought for a while and said.

Maybe it was some kind of hidden restriction, Horn thought to himself.

"Okay, let's stop talking about the communication issue for now. Let's talk about what you've learned from communicating with that other - world creature," Ian steered the straying topic back on track. "Tell us what's going on exactly."

"Okay," Annie said after organizing her words.

"They said they came to Ceylon from a world called 'Thunder'. They're here to look for something that their clan left in Ceylon many years ago.

They call themselves the descendants of the Thunder Flash Clan!

It cost them a lot of resources to come to Ceylon. They're about to get those things now. Little Blue knows that we're enemies of the people from the Church of the North Wind God, so they don't want to have a conflict with us.

After retrieving those things, they'll leave this barren world!"

Annie finished saying all she knew in one breath and waited for Horn's opinion. She thought it was up to Horn to make decisions. She only needed to do the translation.

Horn and the other wild witches looked at each other in surprise. Was Ceylon really barren?

Maybe the definition of barrenness was different in different worlds, Horn thought.

After Horn and Ian discussed for a while, Annie and Little Blue acted as translators.

After negotiation, an agreement was reached between the wild witches and the other - worlders. As long as Horn and his group left the area of the cave and promised not to tell others about the cave, there would be no conflict between them.

Horn was naturally very satisfied with this result. The descendants of the Thunder Flash Clan were obviously more powerful than them. It was definitely a good thing not to have a fight.

Horn and his group weren't interested in the things left here by the descendants of the Thunder Flash Clan, or rather, they didn't have the strength to be interested. Their top priority now was to reach the God - Forsaken Land safely.

So Horn led the wild witches out of the cave area under the gaze of the descendants of the Thunder Flash Clan.

But just after walking a short distance to the side, Ian Parker suddenly changed his expression. He pointed forward and said tremblingly,

"Over there, there are White - robed Deacons! A lot of them!"

As soon as Ian Parker said that, Horn seriously detected in that direction. He was a third - ring magician. His perception ability wasn't as abnormal as Ian Parker's, but the detection range was enough, although he couldn't maintain the perception for a long time!

As soon as Horn spread his spiritual power, his face immediately turned very ugly. In his perception, more than thirty White - robed Deacons were flying in the air in that direction, conducting a carpet - style search in this direction!

Their speed wasn't very fast, and the distance between every two White - robed Deacons was quite large. While flying, they constantly released blue whirlwinds from their hands. It was obviously some kind of detection divine spell!

The fact that Horn could detect them meant that it wouldn't be long before they detected Horn with their detection spells!

"Go back! Go to those other - worlders!"

Horn quickly led the group towards the cave where the descendants of the Thunder Flash Clan were. Because those other - worlders obviously had some means to block perception!

It couldn't be a coincidence that both Horn and Ian had misperceptions about their presence!

According to the search method of these White - robed Deacons, Horn and his group had no other choice but to go to that cave!

Only there could they have a chance to survive!

As for the agreement with those other - worlders, they didn't care about it now. They were more concerned about saving their lives!

Horn and his group rushed back to the cave entrance just before they were discovered by the White - robed Deacons.

The descendants of the Thunder Flash Clan were leisurely arranging something at the cave entrance. But suddenly they saw Horn and the others running back in a hurry!

Did they covet the treasures left by their ancestors?

All the descendants of the Thunder Flash Clan took out their weapons and pointed them at Horn and the others. Those weapons were stone knives and stone swords, but there were faint electric arcs on them. Horn was very sure that these electric arcs didn't come from the other - worlders themselves!

It was the weapons that emitted the electric current!
