Chapter 52 - Chapter 4: An Unexpected Encounter

After sighing about the hardships of the world, the wild witches all went back to rest. Although it was an unprecedented major event, it had nothing to do with the wild witches and was basically over, so everyone stopped caring.

The wild witches booked a total of five rooms.

Horne and Enoch shared one. Hoe Luke and Ian Parker shared one. Annie and Shirley, the two girls, shared one. Black Dog Terry and Matchstick Daniel shared one. Finally, Granny Sharon, the Voice, lived in a room by herself.

When leaving the city of Lehn, everyone took all their belongings with them. They had enough money on them to support them until they reached the God - Forsaken Land, so they didn't need to deliberately save money in their daily expenses.

After dinner, as usual, Horne solved some problems for the wild witches in their cultivation.

Their problems were all kinds of strange ones. Some of them even Horne couldn't solve. For example, Horne didn't know how to start with Enoch's problem of how to strengthen illusions. However, even so, Horne had the richest knowledge reserve among them.

In the process of teaching everyone, Horne's understanding of magic was also deepening little by little.

Previously, Horne only taught Enoch and Annie. He had no basic understanding of either illusion or summoning magic and could only teach them the most basic knowledge. So in the process of teaching the two of them, apart from feeling that he had gained some insights, Horne didn't think he had gained much.

But this time, not only were there more people to teach, but there was also Matchstick, who was also a fire - type mage like him. All the strange problems combined made Horne benefit a lot, and the wild witches were also very satisfied.

After answering these questions, Horne returned to his room and began to study. The things left by Old Douglas were very complicated. It would take a lot of time to understand them.

The dark ink - blue sky faded, and the azure dawn appeared on the horizon. The sunlight shone into the hotel room, and a new day had arrived!

After everyone washed up and packed their luggage, they set off from the hotel and left the town, continuing their long journey to the God - Forsaken Land.

It was still the two carriages. Horne was still calmly studying the booklet left by Old Douglas. The more he studied, the more he felt that he knew too little and there was too much unknown!

Except for Horne, the other men had to take turns driving the carriages. As a tutor, Horne naturally didn't need to drive. In fact, he wanted to drive, but no one was at ease letting a one - eyed man drive...

The most comfortable one on the road was Horne. Horne was blind in one eye, which made Annie extremely distressed. Along the way, she kept asking about his well - being and showed great concern for Horne.

At first, Horne felt very uncomfortable, but gradually he got used to it. After all, the feeling of being cared about was good.

There were no stupid robbers coming out to rob them, and there were no church people getting in their way. The carriage moved forward on the road full of wildflowers. Horne felt more relaxed than ever.

Even if they hadn't reached the God - Forsaken Land and the journey ahead was still long, at least now Horne was not bound by the heavy shackles brought by the identity of a wild witch.

He studied the booklet until his eyes were dizzy. He looked up at the azure sky. The sky was very blue, the air was fresh and cloudless, and there were blue figures flying around.

How wonderful...

Wait, blue figures flying around?

Horne stared at the figure flying in the sky with a blue whirlwind around its waist and suddenly sat up straight.

"Damn it!

Everyone be careful. There may be church people nearby!"

Horne hurriedly shouted to the wild witches.

The carriage immediately stopped, and everyone looked at Horne.

Horne said in a deep voice, "Just now I saw a person from the Northern Wind Church flying across the sky in this direction. Judging from the speed, he should be at least a fourth - rank deacon!"

"What should we do then?" Black Dog Terry said gloomily.

Everyone discussed for a long time but couldn't come up with a countermeasure. After all, there was only this one road for the carriage to pass. They couldn't abandon the carriage and take the mountain path without knowing anything, could they?

Maybe that white - robed deacon was just passing by?

Moreover, was the mountain path really safe? Not necessarily.

They couldn't abandon the original road just because a single church person passed by. So everyone could only continue moving forward.

After about an hour of traveling, Ian Parker suddenly waved his hand to signal everyone to stop!

He said with a solemn expression, "I sense that a group of church people are coming in this direction! There are many of them and they are very powerful!"

The atmosphere suddenly became tense.

Everyone looked at each other, not knowing what to do.

"Let's hide the carriage first and go into the mountains to take shelter. After they pass by, we'll continue on our way. If they stop here, we'll abandon the carriage."

Horne thought for a while and said. There was nothing else they could do now. As long as the conditions allowed, they would never meet so many white - robed deacons!

Everyone quickly hid the carriage and got into the dense forest beside the road. The time was pressing. If they didn't act quickly, they might be caught right by those people from the Northern Wind Church.

They walked a short distance into the mountains, trying to find a suitable place to hide.

Suddenly, Ian's face suddenly turned very ugly, and everyone stopped. There was no need for Ian Parker to detect for them to know that they were in trouble!

Because right in front of the wild witches, there was a dark and deep cave!

And at the entrance of the cave,

There were more than twenty blue creatures standing there!

They were aliens!

Ian Parker's perception hadn't detected the existence of these aliens!

Horne also spread out his spiritual power but couldn't sense these aliens at all!

The failure of spiritual power perception meant that at this moment they knew nothing about these aliens!

The wild witches noticed these aliens, and naturally, these aliens also noticed Horne and the others!

At this moment, both sides were on high alert!

It was a bit awkward for both Horne's group and those blue aliens.

For Horne and his group, they just went into the mountains to avoid those clergy. They just needed to wait until the storm had passed and then go out.

For those blue creatures, they were carrying out a secret operation that their race had paid a huge price for and was about to succeed. But before the final stage had even begun, their existence had been discovered by these Ceylonese!

"You go on. We didn't see anything. We're leaving now." Enoch said to those aliens with a forced smile.

But Enoch was just wasting his breath because these aliens didn't understand the Ceylonese language at all!

They were shouting something loudly at Horne and the others.

"Zzz, Zzzzz..."

Yes, they could only make such crackling sounds.

Naturally, the wild witches couldn't understand this kind of language either.

The wild witches all drew out their staves, and Horne also chanted a spell. And judging from the crackling lightning on the blue figures, it seemed that they were also ready for battle.

Horne was under a lot of pressure. Without being able to sense, he knew nothing about the other side!

But from the flashing electric light on those aliens,

There were at least three third - level aliens!
