Scene: Late Evening – Soft music in the background, lights dimmed, Bunny and Aarav sitting on the balcony couch, quietly sipping coffee.
Aarav POV:
She was talking about the stars like they were her childhood friends. I watched her lips move, but all I could hear was my own heartbeat.
Then I said it, before I could even stop myself.
Aarav (softly):
"It sounds like a nickname."
Bunny (tilting her head):
"What does?"
Aarav (watching her):
"Your idea of love. It feels like something you keep to yourself. A secret only… someone really close would get."
Bunny (a little caught off guard, then smiles):
"You're not completely wrong."
(pause)
Bunny:
"You really want to know what my type is?"
Aarav (turning slightly to face her):
"Tell me."
Bunny (calm, playful):
"I like guys who are rude to everyone except me. Who drop their ego when they talk to me, who don't care about the world but still remember how I like my coffee."
Aarav (looking right at her):
"Oh… that's very specific."
Bunny (grinning):
"And romantic. He has to be romantic."
Aarav:
"Interesting."
Bunny (teasing):
"And you? What's your type?"
Aarav (describing her slowly, eyes on her face):
"Someone who talks too much when she's nervous. Who acts strong but looks away when she's trying not to smile. Someone who looks like trouble but feels like home."
Bunny (laughs, half flustered):
"Oh wow. She sounds lucky and cute."
Aarav (quietly, still watching her):
"She is… Idiot. She's sitting right in front of me."
Bunny (squinting):
"Hmm? Did you say something?"
Aarav (looking away quickly):
"Nothing. Just… clearing my throat."
Bunny (nudging him):
"Tell me one thing."
Aarav:
"Hm?"
Bunny:
"Have you ever dated anyone?"
Aarav (dead serious):
"No."
Bunny:
"What? Never?"
Aarav:
"I've never even touched a girl like that. Never held hands. Never been close. Not once."
Bunny (softly):
"Why?"
Aarav (his voice dropping):
"Because I was waiting."
Bunny:
"For?"
Aarav:
"For something real. For someone who would make me forget I was waiting."
