Chapter 1 - XENON PRISMARA

In the heart of the mini laboratory, a symphony of innovation unfolded, as Cameron Ramon, a prodigious young genius, meticulously fused entangled wires to his latest creation – a miniaturized molecular star prototype.

The soft glow of L.E.D. lights cast an ethereal violet hue upon the neon-sophisticated surroundings, imbuing the atmosphere with an air of anticipation.

Ron's mastery of his craft was evident, his youth belied by the precision and finesse with which he worked.

As he toiled away, his gaze wandered to the walls, where framed photographs of his past achievements seemed to gaze back, a testament to his meteoric rise in the realm of scientific exploration.

The numerous golden trophies, shielded in prismatic glassware, stood as sentinels, guarding the secrets of his success.

Ron's eyes sparkled with a hint of nostalgia, his mind wandering to the countless hours he had spent harnessing his immense intellect, exploring the boundless possibilities of quantum physics.

The air was alive with the whispers of discovery, as his latest creation, the molecular star prototype of the cosmic sphere, sat majestically in its containment shield, the "Cosmo Aegis," hovering over the mild rays of a miniaturized fusion reactor.

Regarded a luminary wherever his feet traversed, the young Eastern Nigerian had graduated from high school at the tender age of fourteen, setting a distinctive record and claiming every prestigious award.

Gaining admission into the prestigious private university of Welkin College in the same year, the nineteen year old quantum physicist continued to break records, exploring the boundless possibilities of science.

And now in his final year, Ron would culminate the climax of his tedious journey with a remarkable discovery in quantum mechanics.

"Here I come, N.A.S.A.," he muttered to himself, powering up his device whilst protecting his vision with a face shield.

The synthetic dimly lit solar sphere hummed mildly, its gentle illumination casting an otherworldly glow upon the laboratory.

The anticipation was palpable, as Ron's fingers danced across the control panel, coaxing the device to life.

As the hums crescendoed into a piercing screech, the orb's blinding illuminance intensified, bathing the lab in an ominous cerulean pall.

Ron's lips curled into a satisfied smirk, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

His features, chiseled from polished gems, seemed to radiate an aura of confidence, his lustrous skin glossing mildly, reminiscent of a honey tan.

His hazel irises shimmered amber green in the flaring spectacle, his tiny nose twitching with anticipation.

Ron's physique, slightly brawny and delicately built, seemed to embody the essence of a hawk, his hair neatly braided, cascading backwards in a complex knotting.

One stray lock often fell sideways, obscuring his left eye, adding an air of mystery to his already captivating presence.

Adorned in a silver hoody and baggy Ash-luxe jeans, Ron studied the quantum radiation emitted by the molecular star, his fingers flying across the keys of his laptop.

The soft glow of the screen cast an eerie light upon his face, as he sought to harness the stabilizing properties of the spectrum prototype.

"If Procyon can, I can," he muttered to himself, drawing inspiration from his role model, the greatest nuclear physicist on the globe who had curtailed the ominous specter of a World War III.

Just then, a cheeky voice chimed in, shattering the silence;

"Only difference is Jasper Ford's a billionaire."

Ron's gaze turned to his best friend, Cassandra Morayo, a tomboyish beauty with a mop of frizzy hair and a sandy fawn complexion that seemed to blend vanilla and chocolate.

Her curvaceous body was hidden in baggies, her freckled cheeks dimpling with a mischievous grin.

"See this 'Werey'!

[Take a look at this jester].

What could you possibly hide from me?" Cassie gasped, her eyes wide with wonder, as she took in the spectacular phenomenon unfolding before her.

"Oh my... it's a..." she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ron chuckled, his smirk laced with victory.

"Cosmic sphere?" he offered, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Cassie's gaze narrowed, her brow furrowed in perplexity.

"How in the world did you create a miniaturized molecular star?" she asked, her voice tinged with awe.

Ron shrugged, his shoulders barely rising above the horizon.

"I simply researched the xeno-nexus.

Funny how the most prized weapon in our solar system is only a ball of quantum energy," he giggled, his laughter infectious.

"Hold on, gotta paraphrase that," Cassie's voice was a melodic cadence.

"Why on earth would you recreate a molecular star?"

Ron leaned against the counter, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"You've got absolutely no idea what this means, do ya?

It's a whole new revolution," he persuaded, his voice filled with conviction.

"Say no more to N.E.P.A. bills and inflated gas prices cause this right here, is gon' propel us into the future.

It's literally got enough potential to power up the entire city."

Cassie's expression turned skeptical.

"What city? Have you any idea how many appliances exist in Lagos?" Cassie's tone was laced with doubt.

Ron chuckled, his smirk unwavering.

"The xeno-nexus could generate enough energy to power up every single machine on the globe.

And this here, is just a replica, an inferior prototype, so my bet is, it could generate ten percent in comparison to its original counterpart.

I call it.. the Xenon Prismara."

Cassandra sighed in mock exasperation, a palm on her face.

"All of this, for a science project?" she muttered beneath her breath.

Ron shrugged, his grin still plastered on his face.

"Hey, anything less than an A could ruin my C.G.P.A.," he retorted.

"5.0 or nothing," Cassie echoed, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Anything goes wrong with your project, your C.G.P.A. would be the least of your problems," Cassie warned.

Ron nodded, his expression serious for a moment.

"True. If tampered with, the sphere could jeopardize the gravitational stability of the city.

We'd all be floating around like we're on the moon."

Cassie's countenance turned pale, her eyes wide with alarm.

Abruptly, Ron's face broke into a humorous chuckle.

"C'mon, I said, 'IF'.

We gotta hope for the best.

As long as this stays in the right hands, we've got nothing to worry about," he said, shutting the power supply.

The reactor's shrill hushed to utter silence, its rotors ceasing rhythmically.

"Come on, let's head to class," his voice, a gentle reminder.

Cassie nodded, her eyes still fixed on the containment shield. "Yeah, let's go."
