Everyone in the room snickered at this, including Zuri.
"Please, put the phone on speaker so she can hear me."
Kenzo complied and put the call on speaker. "Zuri, if you can hear your mom, tap the chair once."
Zuri tapped the chair once and nodded.
"She can hear you, Miss Maude." Kenji said.
"Zuri I want you to come home. There is something important your sister and I need to discuss." She went quiet.
"I don't think it's a good idea that she goes home this night." Mrs Miu collected the phone from Kenji.
"Yeah, it's almost twelve in the morning." Dai said.
"And there are so many dangerous people around this time." Kenzo added.
"What if they kidnap her or worse?" Kenji asked worriedly.
"Surely, your daughter's safety is much more important that a discussion." Miu pointed out.
"Alright." She surrendered. "She'd go to work tomorrow with Kenzo and I'll see her when she gets back. Also, under no circumstance should she go to The StarDust company."
"Promise your mother that you wouldn't go to her workplace." Miu held the phone closer to Zuri's face.
"I promise." She said in a weak tone.
"Good girl. Thank you so much, Miu, for letting my girl stay."
"What are friends for?" They all said their goodbyes and ended the call.
"Alright, since Zuri will be staying with us, she would sleep in Kenzo and Kenji's room with them." Dai thought aloud.
"It's a good thing we carried your other uniform from the drycleaners." Kenzo praised.
"I feel better now." Zuri stood up, breathed in and out. "But what would I do about my undies?"
"You either wash them nor or you take the extras that I have." Miu suggested.
"I think I'd rather take the extras." She chose. "How were you so prepared about the cookies and pies thing?"
"We knew you would come to get you Idea Book, you always come on Saturdays and Kenzo told us that you might come." Dai winked.
Suddenly, she felt angry. She turned away from the others and carried her bag.
"What happened?" Miu asked.
"It's my twin. I think she's angry about something." She said. "I feel angry but she's certainly angrier."
"I'll put the pies in the oven. You should take a shower and I'll give you my nightgown." Miu hugged her. "Don't get worried. Camie is a wayward."
Then, tears rolled down her cheeks. She looked like a porcelain doll and her eyes widened and were wet.
Her cheeks turned red and her lips trembled. She looked so innocent and pitiful, making anyone who looks at her feel angry.
"Why are you crying?" Miu hugged her tighter.
"Camie is crying. She seems really sad." She sniffled. "I don't know what's wrong."
"Maybe, her one-hundredth boyfriend ditched her or she's pregnant." Kenji sneered.
"So be bothered." Kenzo took her upstairs. "I'll give you one of Mom's nighties."
